Getting started

Welcome to TCC auctions

No matter what you call it — moving, downsizing, decluttering, or liquidating — it’s a lot to handle. TCC Auctions is here to help. Start here:

Our Professional advice

packing

auctions

auctions

  1. If it shakes, it breaks. Use proper packing materials and double‑box fragile items.
  2. Three weeks before your move, pack a suitcase as if you’re leaving for three weeks. Everything else goes in a box.
  3. Avoid the “we’re not going far, let’s just load the car” trap. Overstuffed cars lead to last‑minute trashing and chaotic unpacking. Do yourself a favor: box everything.
  4. Consider the cost of moving each item. That 20‑year‑old sofa bed may not be worth the expense.
  5. Keep essential moving supplies on hand.

We’re proud to run TCC Auctions with a focus on sustainability. If you’d like to keep items out of landfills, here are ways to donate, sell, or re‑purpose them.

downsizing/organizing

1. Start with three boxes labeled donate, trash, and keep.

2. Take it slow. Begin with one drawer or one category (shoes, books, etc.). Momentum builds quickly.
